William Donald Humphreys

Born September 8, 1934, he was a son of the late William Blake and Etta Belle Jones Humphreys.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired as manager from various apparel companies.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Humphreys; two sons, Mark Humphreys of Kansas, Michael Scott Cash of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Crystal Fisher, Nicole Kopp, Waylon Simmons, Amanda Cash; eight great-grandchildren, Hunter Fitzgerald, Zach Fisher, Caleb Fisher, Ethan Fisher, Nathan Cox, Dylan Kopp, Violet Kopp and Briana Simmons.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2016 at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Steven Lookabaugh officiating. Military rites will be provided by American Legion Post 340. Active pallbearers will be Michael Cash, Mark Humphreys, Hunter Fitzgerald, Chris Cox, Jimmy O’Neal and Waylon Simmons.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Post 340, 13 Eastside Highway Waynesboro, Virginia 22980.
