We send our deepest sympathies on your loss of an incredible father, grandfather and friend in Bill. Thank you for sharing his life with the Moose fraternity. His wise counsel, generous heart and spirit of service blessed countless children at Mooseheart and seniors at Moosehaven. What a privilege to walk this road of life alongside men like Bill Peace. Hello to everyone who knew Bill Peace. We met in about 1976 at the 1309 Moose Lodge. He had heard I was moving to the area and talked me into being the Secretary of Waynesboro Lodge. Bill and I became every good friends. There was nothing I would not do for him. He was a past governor of Lodge 1309 and his works in the Moose earned him the Pilgrim of the Order. He would call me and say go with me to other meetings, and I said YES SIR. Bill was an E-7 military in the Navy I was an E-7 retired from the Air Force, I made him his military history in a shadow box. He loved it. He joined the American Legion at a new post where I was in South Carolina, Post 250. A few months back I came to see him, the America Legion had prepared him a special Quilt given as a Quilt of Valor. As a golfer everyone want to go to the Masters, so got tickets and we went. He never shut up telling folks of what he saw and who he met. Miss you already Bill Peace. William (Chick) Chick
