William “Willie” Edison Lawrence, 67, of Waynesboro passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at his home. He was born March 3, 1945 in Waynesboro, son of the late Homer Edison and Bessie McKinley Lawrence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Harvey Lee Lawrence and sisters, Lila James, Hazel Painter, Delpha Coffey and Julie Lawrence. Survivors include one sister, Eva Brooks and husband Donald of Waynesboro; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro.
