Yesenia was the true definition of beauty as she had a love and talent for makeup. She was an amazing sister to her brothers and sisters as well as a wonderful daughter, grand-daughter, niece, cousin and friend to many. Her bond with her youngest brother was like no other as she cherished spending time with him and was there when he entered into the world. China you were such a joy to talk to . I looked forward to seeing you each time Michael and myself would eat at El Puertos. We missed you when you changed jobs. It broke my heart to learn of your death. I did not realize at the time who your mother was. Francis my heart goes out to all of you. I cannot imagine the grief you are going thru. You were truly blessed with an angel in China. Sending hugs n prayers to you all.

China, you was just born when I came into this family so I had the privilege of watching you grow into a beautiful, smart young woman. You and Cesar always made me feel like I was really y’all’s tia and made me feel like I was part of the family. I regret now not telling you how much you meant to me and how deep I love you.
Fly high my beautiful niece until we meet again...

I have been blessed with the opportunity to watch all of these children grow from Cesar's first day of kindergarten. I love each and every one of you and have been proud to watch you grow into the great kids and young adults you are. China, however, had me wrapped from the very moment I saw her sweet face, bright eyes, and endless curls . She became dubbed My Shuga Suger. Her excitement over simple things filled every space she occupied, her head strong determination( she took from franny) gave her a true sense of passion for whatever she aimed to do. Her light was bright, and her laughter was true. She loved her siblings and family like no other, and the bond all of you shared as siblings truely is an inspiration for us all. We all have been blessed to have such a true beautiful soul touch our lives, and China's light will continue to shine bright within each of you as you continue your journeys thru life.
