Albert L. "Ab" Wise, 89 of Waynesburg Pennsylvania passed away at 2:33 PM, Tuesday, September 8, 2026. He was born May 18, 1937 in Brock, Pennsylvania, a son of the late William M. Wise and Eva Curlin Wise.
He spent his entire life in Greene County.
Ab was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie #598 of Waynesburg.
He worked in the oil and gas industry and had retired from Consol Coal Co. Humphrey Mine in 1993.
His wife: Goldie Ingland Wise, whom he married September 20, 1956 passed away on January 31, 2021. Surviving is 1 Daughter: Nancy and Donnie Main of Rogersville, PA, 1 Son: Lee and Cristy Wise of Waynesburg PA, 6 Grandchildren : Billie Jo and Dan Barnhart, D.J. Main, Dillon Main, Shaun and Autumn Main, Amy and Shane Ayers, Lisa and Kevin Moore, 8 Great-Grandchildren: Brady and Shelby Barnhart, Josie Barnhart, Jude Main, Samuel Main, Kaylee Ayers, Leah Ayers, Alex Moore and Emily Moore, 1 Great-Great-Grandson: Tatum Barnhart. Deceased is 1 Sister: Margaret Gump and 5 Brothers: Paul Wise, William M. Wise Jr., Harry Wise, Lloyd "Frank" Wise and Willis Wise.
There will be visitation from 4 PM to 8 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., 197 North Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 - Shane M. Ayers, Managing Director with the funeral service being held at 11 AM, Saturday, September 12 at the funeral home with his daughter-in-law Rev. Cristy Wise officiating.
