Alice Jean Farris

 She was born Monday, June 23, 1930 in Spraggs,PA. A daughter of the late W. Ray Moore and Edna Flossie Perry Moore.

            Mrs. Farris was a member of the Christian Assembly Star City Church. When her health permitted she was always active with church work. She worked as a beautician for several years and was an avid quilter. She was a Homemaker.

 Her 1st Husband: Edwin C. Headley died May 31, 1957. Her 2nd Husband:  Harry R. Farris, whom she married on May 6, 1965 died May 1, 2002.

 Surviving are 2 Daughters: Donna (Len) Matscherz, of Ruff Creek, PA., Mary Lou McKahan, of Ohio., 3 Sons: Daniel E. (Sandy) Headley, of Reedsville, WV., Charles E.(Diane) Headley, of Spraggs,PA., Ronald E. Farris, of Palm Bay , FL., 16 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren  and several nieces and nephews.

 Deceased are 1 Son: Wayne E. Farris, 2  Sisters: Verna Dragan, and Mary Lou Brewer, 2  Brothers: James L. Moore and

Edward R. Moore

 Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2016 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478  Mount Morris, PA 15349 there will be additional visitation at the Christian Assembly Star City Church 451 Springdale Ave. Star City,WV.26505 on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM the time of the service with Rev.Willard Rowan officiating.  Burial will be in the Fairview-Kiger Cemetery,Whiteley Twp., Greene County, PA with Pastor Neil Tennant officiating the graveside service.  Information is online at www.milliken-throckmortonfh.com.
