Anita Jo Phillips

She was born Wednesday, October 08, 1958 in Waynesburg. A daughter of the late Hiram Smith Teagarden and Cassie Evelyn Kennedy Teagarden.

Anita was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses in Waynesburg. She enjoyed studying the Bible, scrabble, puzzles, and traveling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved children and watching children at her home. Anita was a 1976 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School. Before taking care of children at home she was an LPN having worked at the Greene County Memorial Hospital and the Curry Memorial Home.

She is survived by Husband: Richard L. Phillips, whom she married on September 25, 1976.

Also surviving are 1 Daughter: Kimberly Jo Phillips, of Mt. Morris, PA, 1 Son: Timothy Richard (Meghan) Phillips, of Waynesburg, PA, 3 Grandchildren: Braydon, Cadence, and Ainsley, 2 Sisters: Karen S. Casto, of Kenna, WV, and Linda D. Johnson, of Morgantown, WV, 2 Brothers: Bruce (Kathie) Teagarden, of Morgantown, WV, and Ricky A. (Amelia) Teagarden, of Marysville, OH and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a greeting of friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 08, 2022 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,197 N. Maiden St Waynesburg, PA 15370. Services will be private with a private burial in the Blacksville Cemetery, Blacksville, WV.
