She was born on September 13, 1935 to Harry and Lucille Yoders. She married Henry W. Fischer, Jr. on November 22, 1955; he preceded her in death on July 30, 2013. She worked as a school secretary before a long career at First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County. She loved visiting tea rooms and trying new types of cookies. She doted on family and enjoyed vacations in Florida to visit them. She relished retirement for its relaxed pace and enjoyed watching television shows and reading books.
She is survived by her son, Mark W. Fischer (Tammy); and granddaughter, Stephanie K. Sifuentes (Josh).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Suzanne Nosenzo.
