Betty R. Phillips

She was born Thursday, August 13, 1942 in Brave, PA a daughter of the late Ray Morris and Blanche (Strosnider) Morris Westwood.

Betty attended First Baptist Church in Carmichaels, PA. In the past, she was an active member of the women’s auxiliary of the American Legion and VFW of Waynesburg, PA. For years she was a CNA and was a caregiver to others. Betty also assisted running a child daycare with her mother Blanche, and was a homemaker as well. Surviving is her Daughter: Kimberly L. (John) Woods of Carmichaels, PA, 1 Son: Kenneth R. Phillips II of Waynesburg, PA, 4 Grandchildren: Nathan Phillips, Chelsee Miller, Cody Austin Phillips and Kelly Woods, 1 Great-Granddaughter: Abby Phillips and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family. Deceased in addition to her parents are 4 Brothers.

Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the time of service on Monday, February 6, 2023 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH,Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton, Director,197 N.
