She was born October 23, 2001 in Washington a daughter of Tommy J. Areford (Judy Bane) of Waynesburg and Connie Sue Cassidy Patterson (Jeremy) of Spraggs.
Miss Areford was a 7th grade student at Margaret Bell Miller Middle School in Waynesburg.
She loved animals and music. Her hobbies were art and yoga.
Surviving in addition to her parents are brothers and sisters, Megan Tutko of Pittsburgh, Travis Areford of Waynesburg, Jeremy Areford of Jefferson, Katie Areford at home, and Jacob and Jordan Patterson of Waynesburg; her grandparents, Candy and Rick Adamson of Waynesburg, Thelma Areford of Waynesburg, Sam Areford of Rogersville, and Eric Roupe of Cameron, WV; and her step-grandparents, Roger and Lisa Patterson of Spraggs, and Kim and Larry Taylor of Greensboro.
Friends will be received 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 30, 2015 with Ed Hanley officiating.
