Duane L. White

He was born March 8, 1940 West Bethlehem Township, a son of the late Lloyd E. and Rose Riskey White.

Mr. White was a retired mechanic for Howley General Tire and Wright Tire.

He was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed tractors, drag racing, and “wheelin’ and dealin”.

Surviving are three children, Billie Jo Maxwell (George) of Prosperity, Duane “Butch” White of Washington, and Julie Byrne of Marianna; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Duvall (Aldine) of Oak Forest and Robert Joseph White (Valerie) of Sycamore; one sister, Betty Tennant (Buzz) of Waynesburg; and a sister-in-law, Betty Duvall of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two brothers, Thomas Duvall and Billy White who died in infancy; and a son-in-law, Michael Byrne.

Friends will be received 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Greene County Memorial Park 1003 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg. with Pastor Larry Deemer officiating. Those attending the service are asked to meet at the Cemetery.
