She was born February 1, 1932 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late John B. and Hester C. Staley Durbin.
Jane was a food service worker with Waynesburg Central High School and Waynesburg College.
She was a member of Bates Fork Baptist Church.
On March 21, 1950 she married Melvin R. Duvall, who died July 9, 1971.
She enjoyed reading the newspaper, doing crossword puzzles, family playing Uno (beating Bill), visiting with family and friends, but most of all knowing God, as her Lord and Savior.
Surviving is her daughter, Charlene (William) Kendall of Chesapeake, OH; two grandsons, William L. (Andrea) Kendall of Charleston, SC and Kenneth Z. (Stephanie) Kendall of Springfield, IL; 12 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Duvall of Warner Robins, GA.
Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are two sons, Joseph R. Duvall and Larry E. Duvall; two grandsons, Daniel J. Duvall and Michael J. Duvall; a brother, Joseph R. Durbin; a sister, Lucille Durbin; half-sisters, Edna Mae Tustin, Juanita Helmick, Eleanor Durbin; half-brother, Robert Durbin.
