Frances Tompkins of Waynesburg, PA died Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She was the widow of the late Attorney Kenneth O. Tompkins II, who preceded her in death on June 5, 1996. Born in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank R. and Helen E. Bartko. Survived by brother, Joseph K. Bartko and wife, Francine H. Bartko; niece, Lisa Edwards and grandnephew, Travis Edwards. She is also survived by many dear friends and co-workers in Waynesburg, PA and Morgantown WV. Frances was associated with her late husband in his law practice for a number of years. During the past several years she was controller for John Howard Motors in Morgantown, WV.
Services will be private, with entombment in the mausoleum at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, PA.
