He was born on August 21, 1957, in Waynesburg, PA, a son of the late William Gale Hilverding and Mary Mildred Lindley.
Gregory was a veteran, having served in the US Army.
He was a huge Pittsburgh sports fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching them all.
Gregory worked as a laborer at All-Clad in Canonsburg, PA and had retired in 2024.
Surviving are his Siblings: Diane Lynn Belford of Berea, OH, Daniel Lee Hilverding of Waynesburg, PA, William Joseph Hilverding of Brunswick, OH, Janet Marie Kirby of Waynesburg, PA, Jess Bradley Hilverding of Marianna, PA and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is 1 Brother- Robert T. Hilverding.
Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, October 12, 2026 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers-Managing Director with his funeral service being held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Charles Tracy officiating. Burial will be held at The National Cemetery of The Alleghenies at the convenience of the family. Graveside Military Rites to be accorded by the Greene County Veterans Honor Guard as well as active members of the US Army.
