He was born October 18, 1935 in Nineveh, a son of the late Homer L. and Elizabeth Gunn Day.
Happy was a graduate of Center Township High School.
He worked for over 25 years for the former Alltel Phone Company and retired as an outdoor supervisor.
On March 23, 1964 he married Margaret “Peggy” Wright Day, who died October 27, 1986.
Surviving are three nieces, Sue (Blair) Stewart of Graysville, Barbara Day of Macungie, and Bonnie Day of Macungie; and several great nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his wife are five brothers, Gene, Harvey, Kermit, Dale and Vance Day.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, the hour of funeral services in the Behm Funeral Home, 182 W.
