Ida Marie John

She was born on December 21, 1949 to Harry M. Rutan and Ida Pearl Morris Rutan in Waynesburg, PA. She grew up in Waynesburg and Spraggs, PA. She married Roy W. John, Sr. on April 5, 1969; he preceded her in death on May 30, 1993. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Follansbee, WV. She enjoyed reading and going on vacations to the beach. She had a strong love for family and hosting dinners for everyone.

She is survived by her children, Roy W. John, Jr. (Amy), Lori A. Baker, Lisa M. Hargrove, and Megan S. Craddock (Michael); grandchildren, Kristopher Hargrove, Dustin Baker, Jasmine John, Taylor Gorza, Bryce John, Tyler Baker, and Caleb and Arionna Craddock; great-grandchildren, Ava M. Baker, Zayn W. John, Miley M. John, and Mazalyn Gorza; siblings, Gladys M. Thomas and MaryAnn Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Melvin Rutan, David Lee Rutan, Billy Rutan, and Helen Wamsley.

Pallbearers will be Kristopher Hargrove, Dustin Baker, Bryce John, Tyler Baker, Michael Craddock, and Dylan Anderson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High St., Waynesburg, PA 15370, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29 at 11 AM with Pastor Tim Colvin to officiate; burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mount Morris, PA.
