Born Nov. 9, 1932 in Jackson Twp., Greene County, Ivan was the son of the late Franklin R. (Riley) Morris and Opal Ann Bungard. In addition to his parents, Ivan is preceded in passing by brothers Glen of West Virginia, Ken of California, and a half-brother, Gary. Nephew Randall and niece Pamela also precede Ivan in death.
Though Ivan lived much of his life and was most happy in Waynesburg, he resided nearly a decade in the San Gabriel Valley of California working in various industries. In 1964 while living in the Los Angeles area he met and married his second wife, the late Margaret (Peggy) Greenlee, also a Greene County native.
Much of Ivan’s career was with Greenway Manufacturing in Waynesburg where he worked more than 20 years until the plant’s closing. Never one to carry a debt, Ivan did not view life from a place of lack.
He is survived by daughter Michelle K. (Mark) Santia of Mars, Pa., whom he shared with wife Peggy and daughter, Tina Ray of Asheville, NC., born to the late and first wife Nancy Wood. In addition to his children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, a brother Gene of Jefferson, Pa., survives.
Ivan leaves behind his long-time, devoted companion Linda Masters of Jefferson.
No services are planned. Burial will be private
