Left to cherish his memory are daughter, Beth Dulaney Sabo, Quintin (Hilda) Dulaney, Jim – Tiny (Dawn) Dulaney and Michael Dulaney with whom he made his home, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. On July 19, 1968 Jim married the love of his life, Peggy Calvert, who preceded him in death.
He began working at Berkowitz Pajama Factory as a sewing machine mechanic in 1953. He continued working after it became Flushing Shirt Factory until his retirement in 1994 after 41 years of service. He was a gun enthusiast who was well established in refinishing gun stocks and barrels and reloading shells. He knew everything there was to know about guns, shells and knives. Requests for his work were too numerous to fill. He enjoyed target shooting and never missed his target. During nice weather he still practiced target shooting.
Jim enjoyed listening to music, especially Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline and Neil Diamond. He was an accomplished key board player and played his key board every day until the day he entered the hospital.
Preceding him in death was brother, David (Neva) Dulaney and sister, Joann Dulaney Bandeen and the older Dulaneys from Spraggs, PA.
Jim was an honorable, kind, gentle man who was liked and respected by all who knew him. To honor his wishes, there will be no services, but his family asks for prayers to get through this very unexpected and difficult time.
Arrangements were entrusted to Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Waynesburg, PA-Shane M. Ayers, Managing Director. Condolences can be expressed online at www.milliken-throckmortonfh.com
