Jane Barnes Cree

She was born Wednesday, March 07,1928 in Mannington, WV. A daughter of the late Thomas Barnes and Nora Means Barnes.

Mrs. Cree was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waynesburg. She helped start the Lobby Shop where she worked as volunteer at the Greene County Memorial Hospital in Waynesburg. She also served on the Greene County Memorial Hospital Board for several years. Mrs. Cree enjoyed playing Bridge. She loved going to her Grandsons ballgames and spending time with her family. She worked for several years for South Penn Telephone Company as a Bookkeeper retiring in 1967.

Her Husband: Harold S.Cree, whom she married on May 19,1947 died January 12,1999.

Surviving are 1 Daughter: Susan Lane Barry, of Southberry, CT., 1 Son: Jeffrey L. (Janet) Cree, of Waynesburg, PA., 4 Grandchildren: Jessica Harvey, Bryce Cree, Scott Cree, and Troy Cree, 3 Great Grandchildren: Braxton, Ryleigh, and Eva., and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is 1 Sister: Nancy Inghram

Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 26, 2018 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,197 N. Maiden St Waynesburg, PA 15370 where services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 27, 2018 with Rev. David Lake officiating. Burial will be in Greene Co.
