Janet F. Riley

Janet F. Riley, age 70, was born on August 1, 1954 to the late David and Lucille Granley Kern in Waynesburg, PA. On July 14, 1976 she married the late William D. Riley. Janet was a retired CNA, a former employee of Super 8 Hotel and Long John Silver. She was a member of the Rolling Meadows Church of God in Waynesburg, PA. She enjoyed spending time at the Drop-In Center in Waynesburg, traveling to Virginia, spending time with her family and friends and playing with her granddogs. Surviving are 2 Children: Jason (Jessica) Riley and Melinda Ruhl, 2 Son-in-Laws: Peter and Will Ruhl. She was known as "Mom" to many or also as J and J (Jesus & Janet). She was blessed to have 11 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and granddogs. Janet had 10 siblings, the late Marietta and (Roy) Owens, the late Linda (Jack) Sirk, Orpha Lou and the late (Mike) Sirk, Wanda and the late (Ralph) Bunch, Dorene and the late (Leonard) Cook, the late Samael Kern, the late Darlene Kern, the late Daniel Kern, Davidene and the late (Dennis) Prout. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Rolling Meadows Church of God, 595 Rolling Meadows Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370 with her funeral service being held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Richard Berkey officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family, as well as bringing a favorite pic to the reception to be held at the Rolling Meadows Church of God following her funeral service.
