He was born on June 12, 1940 to the late Harold and Evelyn Blake. Before his retirement, he worked in heating and air-conditioning. He enjoyed playing pool at the VFW and golfing.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Marie E. McMasters; four children, Danial Blake, Sarah Blake, Howard James Blake Jr., and Kenneth William Blake; many grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews in Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty DeBolt from OH.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 19 at 2 PM at WWJD Christian Center, 313 Jennings Ave., Waynesburg, PA 15370.
