John "Chuck" Charles Wine, 68, of Masontown, PA passed at 9:03 PM, Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. Chuck was born on August 6, 1958, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Noble A. Wine and Crystal Colleen Hancock.
Chuck loved fishing, being on the computer, watching westerns and spending time with his family.
He worked as a mechanic, doing small engine repair in Dry Tavern, PA for many years.
His Wife: Susan Areford Wine, whom he married in 1976 survives. Also surviving are 1 Daughter: Jennifer (Adam) Hawkins of Carmichaels, PA, 1 Son: John "Chuckie" Wine II of Masontown, PA, 5 Grandsons: Brandon, Devon, Nathan, Johnny and Dalton, 1 Sister: Patsy Bell of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is 1 Son: Joshua Aaron Wine.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers- Managing Director with the funeral service being held at 7:00 PM with Rev. Nick Bardo officiating. Interment will be private.
