I couldn't be more sad and sorry to learn this awful news. I had worked with Kim at Ames when she was working her way thru college. Never was this girl without perfectly done hair, make-up and clothes, even at a young 18-years of age. Always polite, always kind and friendly to everyone. We saw each other a couple years ago and I couldn't believe how little she had changed except to look even more like her own mother. My heart goes out to her parents, to Bryan and especially her children. May God bless you all.

I am so saddened and shocked to hear of the loss of my friend. My deepest condolences to Shirley and all of Kims family. Kim and I worked together for several years at Ames in the early 90s. I have so many fun memories of Kim. She was truly an angel inside and out. Her loss is so heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers are with all who loved her and were blessed to have her in our lives.

Shirley and family,
My heart is broken. I'm so sorry. Just a few short weeks ago you and I spoke about Kim and she was doing pretty good. I was shocked to hear the devastating news. I knew Kim from being at the elementary school for my daughter and from hanging out at dance waiting for our daughters. The last time I spoke with her she went on and on about the best support system anyone could have ( her mom, dad, husband and kids). She told me how her mom took such great care of her and the other cancer patients too as she would be getting her treatments. She told me you ran to get whatever anyone needed. She was proud of the way you all poured your support and love out on her. She spoke of you with great love. You all are in my prayers. I pray for God to comfort and strengthen you.

We were so sorry to hear of Kim's death! She is such a lovely young lady and will be missed by so many. Our own personal memory of her is when she was our grandson, Bradley's teacher and he just loved her! I remember taking cupcakes to his class on his birthday and she made sure to make him feel so important that day! I'm sure that's the way she was with all of her students! Our prayers are with all members of her family and friends at this very difficult time. May you all find peace. Love, Dave and Sherry

As a substitute teacher, I have on occasion taught in Mrs. Miller's classroom and have taught in some of her children's classrooms as well. When I was in fourth grade, Mrs. Miller (then Miss Riley ) substitute taught my class while my teacher was out having a baby. I was deeply saddened to hear of Mrs. Miller's passing. I pray that God comforts her family at this time.

Mrs Miller, witty, dedicated and an inspiration. I worked in her classroom as a PCA. She always treated each child with respect while guiding them to make better choices and be the best that they could be. Definitly deserved her title "The Queen". May the Lord be with each of her family and friends as they travel this journey of grief.
