Larry R. Tharp, 61 of Waynesburg, died Saturday, April 1, 2023 in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born May 6, 1961 in Waynesburg, a son of Larry W. Tharp and the late Lola Jean Stewart Tharp.

Larry was a 1981 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School.

He had been working as a truck driver with Burns Drilling.

Larry enjoyed riding his motorcycle and building legos.

On April 24, 1987 he married Myrna M. King, who survives.

Also surviving in addition to his wife and father is a sister, Pamela (Everett) Varner of Waynesburg; a sister-in-law, Donna (Lloyd) Duvall of Waynesburg; a niece Tiffany (Rob) Pauley; two nephews, Bryan (Rebecca) Cole and Kevin Wilson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Deceased in addition to his mother is his step-mother, Patricia Tharp; and a sister-in-law, Mary Wilson.
