We truly cherish the memories of Mrs Eichenlaub as a great neighbor and "mom's best friend." I remember apples, mint and monkey bars in the backyard; visiting for many puppet shows and doll houses; hours at the library, acting in community plays, delivering the Observer-Reporter, and of course Rain Day.

Our prayers are with your family and especially Mr. and Mrs. Eichenlaub.

So sad to hear! I have so many memories of your mother (and father). He was such a gentle soul; she was FULL of creative energy, and such a good friend to my mother. I’ll always remember your mother’s enthusiasm & infectious laugh.
And the doll houses and puppet shows!!!

Marilyn Eichenlaub was a wonderful person whose joy in everything she did shone through her smile and her always encouraging words for others. I experienced her as a Catechism teacher at St. Ann's, a mother behind the scenes at childhood plays, the mother of a high school sweetheart, and a smiling face and kind heart whenever I encountered her. I know that her children and grandchildren have even more wonderful memories of her, and I hope they take comfort in the fact that she was beloved by so many of us in Waynesburg, a town she helped make a great place to grow up. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
