Mary Kathryn McCall Gregory

She was born December 2, 1944 in Las Vegas, NV, a daughter of the late Charles C. and Fehr Steinbaugh McCall.

Mrs. Gregory was a graduate of Waynesburg High School and Waynesburg College.

Mary was a retired school teacher, having taught English at Conneaut Valley, Sayre, Northeast Bradford and Gateway Regional Schools.

Mrs. Gregory moved back to Waynesburg in 1997 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir.

Mary was active in the Bowlby Library as a board member and a member of the Library Club. She was also a member of the Women’s Club, the Red Hat Society, NEA, PSEA, and volunteered for the Cherry Door.

On April 6, 1965 she married, Robert J. Gregory, who died March 9, 1997.

Surviving are three children, Kelly Beale-Kraich (Paul) of Waynesburg, R. Scott Gregory of Elizabethtown, and Christopher A. Gregory (Molly) of Bozeman, MT; six grandchildren, Tucker M. Beale, Kathryn F. Beale, Alison Gregory, Jacob Gregory, Oliver Gregory, and Silas Gregory.

Deceased in addition to her parents are two brothers, C. Robert McCall and John W. McCall.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday in the Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High St., Waynesburg, PA 15370; where services will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. David S. Lake officiating. Following the funeral service and meal the graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. in Jefferson Memorial Park, 401 Curry Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
