

Myra Lynn Remaley, 84, of Waynesburg, PA passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. Myra was born on June 10, 1941, in Brave, PA, a daughter of the late Samuel W. Kerr and Pansy Steele Kerr. Myra graduated from Waynesburg High School in 1959, where she was the drum majorette for the band. She then attended Morgantown Business College. Myra was a member of the Mather Christian Church. She was also a proud member of the Red Hat Society. Myra enjoyed playing cards with friends, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She worked at Greene County Memorial Hospital as a pharmacy tech for many years, where she made some special lifelong friends. On March 2, 1985, Myra married Frank M. Remaley, who died on December 12, 2020. Surviving are a son, Mark Pastoria and wife Jennifer of Butler, PA, a daughter, Valerie Mathason Saunders and husband Chris of Rices Landing, PA, Six grandchildren, Jordan Pastoria, Logan Pastoria, Emily Mathason Hoesman, Michelle Mathason Brown, Derek Mathason, and Noah Lemley, Two great-grandchildren, Henry Hoesman and Laurel Brown, sister-in-law Marilyn Kerr, nephew Jeff Kerr, and niece Holly Renda. She is preceded in death by a son, Daniel Lemley, grandson Tyler Pastoria, brother Jack Kerr, and son-in-law Michael Mathason.
A visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., 197 North Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers, Director, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Twp., Greene County, PA 15370.
