Norma Louise Morris Eddy Headley

Norma Louise Morris Eddy Headley, 88 of Core, WV went to be with the Lord Jesus on October 9, 2021 after a long battle with Parkinson's. She was born October 24, 1932 in Garards Fort, PA, a daughter of the late Charles and Louisa Lemley Morris, and the sister of Richard who is deceased, Dave, Wes and Harry Morris. She was married to the love of her life, Rob Eddy in 1949 until his death in 1991, then married Dave Headley in 2000 until his death in 2012. Norma faithfully attended Jake's Run and Mt. Morris Assembly of God where she taught preschool, Sunday School, 1st and 2nd Grade Prim girls for many years. She was a very loving and caring wife and mother. She was a wonderful homemaker, outstanding cook and professional spoiler of grandchildren. Her children are Howard and Dee Eddy and their daughter, Joyce. Gay and Randy Dean and their children Jill and Ron Clark, and Stan and Kelly Dean. Melvin, who is deceased and Mavis Eddy and their children Mandy and Carl King, and Matthew and Teresa Eddy. Norma has 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild due next May. The family extends a heartfelt "thank you" to all the doctors, nurses, hospice and home caregivers.

Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the time of service on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH,Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478 Mount Morris, PA 15349 with Pastor Rob Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Eddy Chapel Cemetery, Maidsville, WV 26541.
