Pamela G. Albert

Heaven gained another Special Angel, Pamela Gocke Albert, when she passed away on September 18, 2025 in Ruby Memorial Hospital of numerous medical issues. We know she died of a broken heart with the loss of John, her husband of 29 years. She was born May 18, 1953 in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of the late Dr. Jack and Suzanne Neff Gocke. She graduated from Bridgeport High School, Class of 1971 and completed 4 years at WVU majoring in physical education. She retired in January 2025 after 35 years at WVU Physicians Office Center in Morgantown, WV. Pam loved life, spending it with John at their farm, entertaining family and friends, fishing, hunting and loving on their many German Shepherd dogs. They were married June 21, 1996 in a beautiful ceremony at the pond. Pamela is survived by her sister-in-law Anita (Rick) Lanoy of Washington, PA, brothers Tim (Mary) of Ohio, John (Jenny) of Georgia, sister-in-Law Terry Gocke (widow of Mike Gocke) of Morgantown, WV, 6 nephews, 2 nieces and her best friend of 57 years Nancy McClure. Pam is also survived by a very special family Jamie and Ashton Wilson of Waynesburg, PA and their 3 children who she and John considered to be their foster family, and lastly her beloved Shepherd Wiley. Services are to be private and held at the convenience of the family.
