Patricia A. Carpenter

She was born March 18, 1956 in Monongahela a daughter of Henry and Anne Zadik Bowers of Mt. Morris who survive.

She was a graduate of Ringgold High School and the Washington Hospital School of Nursing.

On November 28, 1981 she married Herbert M. Carpenter who survives.

Mrs. Carpenter was a registered Nurse. She had worked at Magee Women’s Hospital, Mon Valley Hospital, and as a health room assistant for the Central Greene School District.

She was a member of the East View Assembly of God.

Mrs. Carpenter was artistically creative. She specialized in wreath-making, floral arrangements, and jewelry.

Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are three children, Leah Carpenter at home, Aaron Carpenter and Elizabeth Carpenter both of Westminster, Colorado; and one sister, Judy (Stephen) Benway of Fishers, Indiana.

Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 with Rev. Richard Ritenour and Rev. Paul Salosky officiating followed by interment at Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
