Uncle Shirl was one of the finest persons I knew. He would help anyone who needed help and enjoyed doing it. He never said an unkind word about anyone, and never met anyone who didn't become his friend.

Prayers and sympathy to all of Shirl's family and friends. Being from Kirby; I have known him and his family for over 60 years; a wonderful family!
His sense of humor always made me smile. Glenn and I spent many hours with Shirl and Helen; lots of laughs and fun! Glad that Shirl is in no more pain and will be reunited with Helen!

I didn't know Shirl very well but I enjoyed talking to him when he was shopping at Giant Eagle. He always had a smile. He always asked how everyone in my family was doing and always asked about Delbert and Sharon . I will miss those conversation.
