

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Edward Sebek of Greensboro. Shirley was an active member of Landmark Baptist Church at Waynesburg. She was ritireed with 18 years of service at International Paper Company in Waltz Mill, Pa., Shirley and her husband, Jim ran a ceramic shop for many years at the home also in Waltz Mills. Shirley had completed a practical nursing degree from the Post Secondary Graduate School of Nursing, Chicago, IL, in November of 1960. Recently she had enjoyed the company of friends she spent lunches with at Carmichael’s Senior Center. She will be sadly missed by her two sons, William G. Sebek and his wife Sharon of Greensboro, and James R. Sebek and his wife, Cindy of Waynesburg. She is also survived by the following grandchildren; Shane and wife Jodie Sebek of Yukon; Melissa and husband Jason Smith of Waynesburg; Michael and wife, Yvonne Sebek of Hope Mills, NC; Tina and her husband Shawn Orndoff of Waynesburg of Waynesburg; Shelley and her husband Josh McCartney of Waynesburg; and step-grandchildren, Carrie Moore of Greensboro and Shane Moore of Carmichaels; and 16 great-grandchildren; She is also survived by her sister, Janet Lynn Milhalko; brothers, Gary Lynn, Wayne Lynn, Elery Lynn, Glenn Lynn and Dave Lynn, and their families.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 3 at Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013 with Pastor Arnold Watts officiating followed by burial at Sewickley Presbyterian Cemetery at Milbel.
