Thelma King Talpas

She was born Tuesday, March 29, 1927 in Aleppo Twp, Greene County, PA. A daughter of the late Ben F. King and Minnie Simms King.

Mrs. Talpas attended the Spraggs United Methodist Church. She worked as an operator for the South Penn Telephone Company for several years.

Her Husband: Dr. Michael K. Talpas, whom she married on October 16, 1964 died December 18, 2001.

Surviving are 2 Daughters: Martha Matyk, and her husband Paul of Carmichaels, PA., and Connie Parry, and her husband Gerald of Atlanta, GA., 4 Grandchildren: Amanda (Frank) Lawrence, Michael (Kristin) Staggers, Lisa White, and Rebecca (Michael) Sentner, 4 Great Grandchildren: Daniel White, David M. Staggers, Stephen Lewis, Jaxson Lawrence, 1 Special Niece: Judy King of Everett, PA. and several nieces and nephews. Thelma was the last of her immediate family.

Deceased: 2 Sisters: Hazel King and Mabel L. Shriver, and 1 Brother: William King

At the request of the family all services and burial are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,197 N.
