He was born February 12, 1934 in Jefferson Township, a son of the late Roy and Helen Scott Blaker.
He was a graduate of Center Township High School.
Mr. Blaker was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of American Legion Post 330.
On July 17, 1955 he married Patricia Ann Burns Blaker who survives.
He resided most of his life in Center Township.
Mr. Blaker worked for many years as a sprinkler fitter for the Grinnell Sprinkler Corporation. From 1972 to 1978 he and his wife owned and operated Midtown Honda in Waynesburg. He also worked for several years as a laborer, driver, and parts clerk for John Howard Motors in Morgantown, WV.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Vickie (Ed) Garrison of Waynesburg, Sheree (Danny) Dowdle of Washington, and Tammy (Dick) Martin of Washington; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Louise Martin of Holbrook.
