Thomas L. Gooden, 87, of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania passed away at 3:30 AM on Sunday, August 25, 2024 in the home of his son Mike. Thomas was born February 7, 1937 in Spraggs, PA, a son of the late Samuel L. Gooden and Nellie Johnson Gooden. He was a member of the Spraggs United Methodist Church. Thomas was also a member of the local Carpenters' Union and worked as a carpenter for Uniontown Construction until his retirement in 2000. He loved gardening, maintaining his property and tinkering with his old cars. His Wife: Patsy Cole Gooden, whom he married on November 22, 1958 survives. Also surviving are 2 Sons: Thomas R. "Randy" and wife Elissa Gooden of Waynesburg, PA and Gary Michael "Mike" and wife Carol Gooden of Waynesburg, PA and 1 Sister: Mary Lou Edwards of Olney, Maryland. There will be visitation held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers, Director with the funeral service taking place at 1:00 PM with Pastor Samuel Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Claughton Cemetery, Whiteley Twp, Greene Co., PA.
