Timothy H. Shaffer

He was born June 1, 1957 in Blacksburg, VA, a son of Homer E. Shaffer of Waynesburg and the late Helen Jo Robinson Shaffer.

He graduated from Waynesburg Central High School in 1976 and from Shippensburg University in 1980.

Mr. Shaffer worked at AC Dellovade at Canonsburg for over 20 years. He also operated his own drafting business.

Tim was a great outdoorsman who loved to hunt, going to all parts of the globe.

He will be greatly missed by his father, Homer E. Shaffer of Waynesburg; sister, Lori (Carl) McCue of Morgantown, WV; and brother, Todd Shaffer of Waynesburg. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and great friends.

Friends received 1-4 & 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church 112 North Richhill St., Waynesburg followed by interment at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Morgantown, WV. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Timothy H. Shaffer Scholarship Fund c/o PNC Bank, 77 West High St., Waynesburg, PA 15370.
