Viola F. Johnson

She was born Friday, March 5, 1937 in Spraggs, PA a daughter of the late William Albert Phillips and Edna Mae Cook Phillips.

Viola was a member of the Church of Christ in Washington, PA. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and helping others. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She worked in housekeeping at the University and was a Homemaker.

She is survived by her Husband: B. Scott Johnson, whom she married on July 5,1959.

Also surviving are 4 Daughters: Wanda (Alfred) Cole, of Waynesburg, PA., Lucinda "Cindy" (Terry) Lidey, of Hickory, NC.,

Myra (Mike) Adams, of Buchanan, MI., and Amanda (Jeff) Toothman, of Harker Heights, TX. 9 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren, 1 Sister: Opal Gilmore, of Akron, OH., and 1 Brother: George Phillips, of Somerset, PA., and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are several Brothers and Sisters.

Private Visitation and Services were held at the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,197 N. Maiden St Waynesburg, PA 15370 with John Wright as minister.
