Virginia Mae Kennedy, 84, of Sycamore, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Virginia was born in Nineveh, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Hallie Lee Phillips and Sadie Virginia Ross Phillips. Virginia was a sales clerk and worked in retail for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband Boyd Kennedy. Surviving are 1 Daughter: Wendy Lee and husband Francis Gilbert of New freeport, PA, 1 Granddaughter: Braedon Gilbert of New Freeport, PA, 1 Grandson: Francis Gilbert Jr. and wife Ashlynn of Carmichaels, PA, 1 Great-Grandson: Reid Gilbert, 1 Sister: Edna Schrader and several nieces and nephews. Deceased: 3 Sisters- Mary Thorne, Helen Kelley and Nettie Morris-Adams and 2 Brothers- Robert Phillips and Kenneth Phillips. Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
