Dear Mrs. Popper,
I am so sorry for your loss.  Mr. Popper was so fun, and funny, and witty.  I always enjoyed being around the two of you.  He was always into something new and interesting.  I will always appreciate both of your kindness, and the wonderful friendship you had with my parents, Don and Peggy.  They loved you both.  Mr. Popper and Dad had a lot of fun wrestling with computers, and you were both always very kind to me.  Again, so sorry for your loss, and if you find yourself near Waxhaw, please let me know.
