Barbara Janice Pawlowski Klonowski, age 87, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab. Barbara was born in Chicago, IL on September 22. 1938, to the late Walter and Janet Supranowicz Pawlowski.
Barbara retired from Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. She volunteered at Haywood Regional Medical Center and donated homemade blankets to needy citizens of Haywood County.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Zygmunt "Ziggy" Klonowski.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 5, at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Lucas Rocci officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
