Barbara Eloise Miller

Called Home by the Lord: May 28, 2025, Clyde, North Carolina (84 years)

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Logan & Corinne Peeples, her beloved husband of 14 years, Glenn Miller, and her sweet poochies Rocco & Misty. She is survived by her brother, Ernest Peeples (Jimmie, Vonda Davis & Ernie), her children, Floyd Benjamin Kersey III, Holly Reilly (Bill) and 6 grandchildren. Loved and cherished by Benjamin Kersey IV (Brittany), Taryn Kersey, Kelsey & Kate Reilly.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Barbara was a dedicated and well respected Physical Therapist for 42 years. She served the Lord and shared the Love of Christ as a Sunday School Teacher, as well as helped with AWANA’s in FL & NC, and assisted with Riverbend Elementary’s Bible Club.

She was often called upon to provide strength, encouragement and comfort through prayer in times of trouble or doubt. She believed in and taught her children about the power of prayer and the Holy Word of God, which she learned from her parents who loved the Lord.

We are encouraged by her example and comforted in the knowledge that upon entering Heaven she heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
