Beatrice "Bea" Terisa Huppe

July 27, 1925January 3, 2020

Beatrice "Bea" T. Huppe, 94 of Maggie Valley, NC entered Heaven's Gate on Friday January 3, 2020, to join our Lord surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She had health and mobility issues and resided at the Autumn Care Nursing Facility in Waynesville.

Bea was born in Franklin, NH on July 27, 1925, where she lived with her parents and brother. After high school she attended Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1946, where she received her RN degree. Until her death, she was still working and taking care of her "patients". An incredible woman that never wavered from her caring, nurturing and loving nature.

Continuing her journey, Bea raised one loving son and three daughters and along with her husband, Armand Sr. retired to Jensen Beach, FL. Bea was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family...specializing in cream filled cupcakes to which everyone could agree were the "best ever". As they aged and longed to be by family they decided to relocate to Maggie Valley, NC.

She was a devout Catholic and attended St. Johns church in Waynesville. Bea had a beautiful spirit and was one of the most selfless people ever...she only wanted the best for her family, always putting them above herself. Everyone should strive to be like our Bea, the entire world would be a better place. Her answers were always prayer...the power of prayer and to always put it in God's hands.

Preceded by her death were her parents, Joseph and Evelyn Thibault; brother, Larry Thibault; granddaughter, Erin Wells; and her loving husband of 60 years, Armand Huppe Sr. (April 24, 2007).

She is survived by her loving and devoted son, Armand Huppe and his wife Diane of Maggie Valley; three daughters, Susan Lynch of Peyton, CO, Diane Wells and her husband, Douglas of Sarasota, FL and Lynne Remele and her husband Vance of Calhoun, GA; six grandchildren, Samantha and Steven Huppe, Michael and Sean Lynch and Jonathan and Brian Wells; three great-grandchildren, Kelcie, Kaylee and Andrew.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John's Catholic Church at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, with Father Paul NcNulty officiating, following with a burial service at the Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband.

The family suggest Memorial be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis , TN 38105, in Beas honor.
