The first time we all met, Georgia and BG wore matching shirts Rhonda had graciously had made for them. They wore matching pigtails and bows and the two weren't sure what to make of one another. I was admittedly very nervous. It was the first time I had ever met another trisomy mom, nevermind another trisomy girl who helped pave the way for my own little girl.

The thing is, Bella (and Rhonda) always seemed to have it all together. And I always admired Rhonda's commitment to giving BG a full & experienced life. They seemed unstoppable together, & Bella's personality was undeniable.

I always find that during these memorials we highlight the medical battles our kids face, but BG was so much more than a kid who had beaten the statistics. She was brave. And funny. She was smart, and she knew it. She was loving to her siblings & a leader among her friends. She always seemed to just laugh in the face of adversity, creating this sense that her challenges only added to the beauty in her life. Her circumstances never defined her, but rather they illuminated her, into this incredible beacon of all that God is capable of.

One of my favorite memories is from the 2019 SOFT conference. The first day, we had all the kids in a big circle, trying to get group shots, & my own stubborn daughter was hysterical. And Bella Grace, right next to her, flashed my phone a big smile and then smacked Georgia right in the face 😂 I just always imagine her in that moment, "Girl, you need to quit crying! We are the oldest & need to be a good example! Get it together!" And when the news of her loss overcame me in grief and tears, I'd imagine BG telling me the same thing, "toughen up, you need to be strong with me."

I am forever grateful of the Yarringtons friendship & their never-waivering love for Bella. In the simple act of loving their daughter, they inspired so many families to follow in their footsteps. Her life was more than just a life well lived. It was a calling for a movement. 💙

I was honored to meet Bella grave a few times and she always had a beautiful smile on her face. My sister was one of Bellagraces nurses at home and she would always talk of how well Bella was doing with everything. Rylee and I also worked together and she loved her sister so much. You all are in my prayers with big hugs ❤️

Sweet Bella Grace will always be remembered as the cute little girl with trisomy 18 who opened the eyes and hearts of some geneticists and counselors at the 2018 American College of Medical Genetics meeting in Charlotte, NC. She also impressed the folks in the adjoining booth, representing trisomy 21, with her content and happy disposition. Such lessons from this little teacher and her mother will benefit those who come behind for years to come.
Sending condolences to the Yarrington family and all who loved Bella Grace.

I will always see Bella Grace’s smile when I think of her. She was truly an inspiration to so many and exemplified what is meant by living in God’s Grace. She overcame so many medical challenges with her strength and spirit teaching us all to be thankful for God’s gifts He bestows upon us every day. Grandpa will always hold you in his heart and soul sweetheart. I know that Grandma is with you in Heaven and you both are praying fir us all until we are joined together in God’s Kingdom.

Thank you for sharing your precious Bella Grace with all of us. Her precious smile will be etched in my heart forever. Rhonda, Maria has spoken so highly of you and you entire family. You are such a mentor to her. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with her. I cant stop thinking of the Bible passage, "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them;for it is such as these that the kingdom of God belongs."Luke 18:16 I firmly believe Bella Grace received the grandest hug from Jesus when she entered heaven. It is my prayer and hope that I will meet her in heaven one day. God bless each of you today and always.

Bella Grace was my Harper Grace’s big sister. The first time they met, Bella held Harper’s hand and had a look on her face that seemed to say “I’ll protect her always”. I love Bella like she was my own and I’m going to miss her more than words can say.
