Canton, NC – Beth Ann Brookshire Turner, age 66 passed away peacefully Monday, November 20, 2017 at her son’s residence. She was born on September 14, 1951. Beth had a love for music, gardening and spending time at the lake swimming and water skiing. She is preceded in death by Wilburn Brookshire and sister, Carol Brookshire. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Kermit Turner; mother, Doris Brookshire; son’s, James and wife, Stephanie Messer and Jeff and wife, Cindy Messer; sisters, Brenda Mehaffey and Vickie Lanning; brother, Greg Brookshire; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Jessica, Dustin, Cody, Chase and Jesse Wayne Messer, Cassarah Ensley; and one great grandchild, Greyson Medford. Memorial Services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, November 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Garrett Funeral Home.
