Betty Jane Weed Krenz Betty Jane Weed Krenz, 78, of Milwaukee, WI passed away May 31, 2015 at the Brian Center in Waynesville, NC. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 18, 1936 to the late Arthur and Lydia Pinske Weed. Over the years Betty was very active at Mount Lebanon Lutheran Church. She enjoyed volunteering for several years at the church’s second hand store. She also treasured for many years, working with the church school reading to the 2nd and 3rd graders. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her garden growing vegetables. She is survived by her loving husband, Gosbert Krenz; sons, Ken Krenz and wife Deonne and John Krenz; daughters, Karen Christoffersen and Jackie Dougan and husband Rick; sister, Shirley Brekke; grandchildren, Kellen Krenz, Michael Krenz, Steven Krenz, Joshua Krenz, Peter Powalisz, Tim Powalisz, and Cait Krenz. Memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Mount Lebanon Lutheran Church with Pastor Aaron Bublitz officiating. The family will gather and receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM on Saturday at the church. Refreshments/Lite Lunch to follow service.
