Bobbie (Parris) McCall

Waynesville-Bobbie Parris McCall, 90 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 4, 2021. Bobbie was born in Haywood County on June 18, 1931, to the late Glenn and Alma Foster Parris. She enjoyed being a devoted pastor's wife and mother to her children. Bobbie will be remembered for her servant's heart, always taking care of others.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverend Ray McCall, whom she joined on what would have been their 74th wedding anniversary; and sister, Marilyn Henry.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Tim McCall (Kim); daughter, Diana Furlong; brother, Jerry Parris (Jo Ann); grandchildren, Chadwick Ray McCall (Jennifer) and Alexa Rae McCall; and great-grandson, Rucker McCall.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 8, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with her nephew, the Reverend Stan Parris officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
