

Bethel-Bonnie Warren Vance, 100, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 10, 2016, at Silver Bluff Nursing and Rehab. Bonnie was born in Haywood County on February 26, 1916, to the late Garland and Pearl Reece Warren. Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother with a generous spirit and a servant’s heart. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, David Vance; her son, Tommy Vance; her twin sister, Donnie Inman; her sisters, Genevieve Vance, Tulon Rogers, and Beatrice McFalls; her brothers, Claude Warren, G.L. Warren and Grady Warren; and her daughter-in-law, Jeanne Powell Vance. Bonnie is survived by her son, David Vance (Vera); her daughters, Alice Noland (John) and Frances Burress (Billy); her brothers, Mack Warren (Alees) and Ray Warren (Sarah); her sisters, Roseann Stinnett (Charles) and Peggy Sue Boykin (Bill); twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 15, at Bethel United Methodist Church with the Reverend Scotty Patrick and the Reverend Dr. Kim Milner officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Community Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Wednesday, September 14, at Garrett Funerals and Cremations.
