Bruce Monroe Johnson, born on January 1, 1938, in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 88. He was a resident of Waynesville, North Carolina.
Bruce started his working life in the banking industry in Jacksonville, FL and later went back to college and got his accounting degree. He started his own accounting business in Jacksonville, FL. Upon retirement, Bruce volunteered his time for many years at the Senior Center and Haywood Waterways.
He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Ida Johnson; sister, Jan Johnson; and daughter, Sheri Esslinger.
Left to cherish his memory is wife, Margo Johnson; daughter, Lori Johnson and extended family.
