Bruce Loberfeld, 80, of Waynesville, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
Born on August 29, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, Bruce was a man who loved his family and friends and always found a way to make people smile.
Bruce leaves behind his loving wife, Carla Loberfeld; his daughters, Robin Kauffman and Michelle Loberfeld; his stepson, Adam Leonard, and his wife, Brittany Leonard; and his granddaughters, Alexis Kauffman, Morgan Kauffman, and Addison Loberfeld Aling.
He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Jefferey Frankel, David Whyte, and Robert Seymour; his sisters-in-law, Donna Whyte and Kelly Seymour; his nephew, Andrew Frankel; and many dear family and friends whose lives he touched along the way.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Lillian Loberfeld; his sister, Barbara Frankel; and his niece, Susie Frankel.
A viewing and funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Garrett Funeral Home, 460 North Main Street, Waynesville, North Carolina.
A life filled with love, laughter, family, and friendship is a life well lived. Bruce will be loved and missed beyond words.
