Buck Crane

Buck Crane, age 62 of Waynesville, NC passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021. He was born August 24, 1959. He was the son of Betty and Robert Conard of Waynesville, NC and Claude Crane of Seneca, SC.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa, His dad, Robert Conard, and his father Claude Crane, his sister, Bobby Jean, and his nephew, Luke Dyer, and his grandparents on both sides. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Betty Conard of Waynesville, His brother's, Neal Crane of Waynesville, and Carl Crane of Seneca, SC; His sisters, Rose (Mike) Green, Nola Jean "Jeanie" Kiker, Robin (Danny) Ledford, Phyllis (Willie) Austin of Waynesville, Misty (Todd) Blalock of Clyde. He also leaves behind one son, Michael Bickley, and two grandkids, as well as many special nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles.

Buck loved to be around his family and enjoyed joking around a lot. He liked spending around the campfire with his nephews and friends. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends listening to music. He enjoyed spending time with his cousin digging for ginseng before he became disabled. He enjoyed spending time at home with the family pets, Rex, Little Bit, Buttons and Leo.

Buck will truly be missed and the family thanks everyone for their prayers. The family wants to thank all those who helped to provide care, support, and comfort for Buck during his final journey her on earth.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Garrett Funeral Home.

Burial will be at the family cemetery, "Miller Cemetery", Highlands, NC

Pallbearers will be Rob Conard, Carl Crane, James Ledford, Jeff Green, Nick Kiker, Joe Kiker, Jeremy Conard, Willie Austin.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Ledford, Anthony Strickler, Cody Strickler, Scott Conard, Paul Mull.
